Collision leaves 2 injured at the corner of Smith Street and Gardiner Street
Just before 9pm last night Rescue Care paramedics were called to a serious accident at the corner of Smith Street and Gardiner Street.
On arrival paramedics found that two vehicles had collided in the junction before one of the vehicles lost control and crashed into nearby ATM machines situated on the side of the road. Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that two people had sustained minor injuries. They were both stabilized on the scene and were transported by Rescue Care to a nearby hospital for further care.
It is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS and Metro Police were in attendance and will be investigating further.
