5 Injured in 4 taxi crash Durban

Five people have been injured after four taxis collided at the intersection of Old Dutch Road and Warwick Avenue just after 8am this morning.

Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that four taxis had collided in the junction. After assessing the scene it was established that five people had been injured, one sustaining serious injuries. After the injured had been stabilised they were transported by Rescue Care to nearby hospitals for the further care that they required.

At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however the necessary authorities were on the scene and will be investigating further.
