Man dies on the N2 Higginson Freeway in Woodlands, Kwa-Zulu Natal
A man has died on the N2 Higginson Highway in Woodlands, Kwa-Zulu Natal.
The exact detail to the cause of the accident will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
When Netcare911 paramedics arrived on scene they found the man lying on the road in a critical condition.
The man then went into cardiac arrest and paramedics initiated CPR, this went on for 25 minutes. Sadly, there was nothing more they could do for the man.
Netcare911 paramedics worked alongside a paramedic from another private emergency service to administer CPR on scene.
The man was declared dead on scene by paramedics from another emergency service.
The accident happened this afternoon at about 14:00.
There was a bakkie involved in this accident.
Metro police are still on scene investigating the circumstances around the death of the man.
