One person injured in track crash between Harrismith and Warden
At 20h20 on Tuesday night Netcare 911 paramedics from Harrismith responded to reports of two trucks that collided on the N3 between Harrismith and Warden. Reports from the scene indicate that the two trucks were traveling from Gauteng towards Harrismith when the one rear-ended the other.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found that the one truck had overturned, the wreckage was spread across the roadway. After triaging the injured it was found that the driver of the rear truck had sustained serious injuries while the driver of the other truck escaped uninjured.
Medics treated the seriously injured truck driver at the scene before they transported him to a nearby hospital for the care that he required.
