MEC Kaunda to announce the opening of a multi-million rand main road P451 in Kwahlabisa

The MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison, Mr Mxolisi Kaunda, will announce the opening of a multi-million rand investment in the upgrade of main road P451 in KwaHlabisa.

Phase one of Main Road P451 project is located within the recently merged Hlabisa-Big Five Local Municipality. The objective of upgrading from gravel to surfaced blacktop (tar) is to provide a safe and all-weather access road to the communities within the Hlabisa, Mpembeni, Mdletshe Traditional Councils, and public amenities such as schools and healthcare facilities.

Kaunda is expected to be accompanied by members of the Legislature, Traditional leadership, Religious Leadership and Local leadership.
