Suspects Smoke Victim Out Of Home in Zwelisha, KZN

At approximately 01:20 this morning members of Reaction Unit South Africa were flagged down by a businessman in the Verulam CBD requesting assistance.

He informed Officers that he received a call from an employee reporting a break-in in progress at his business premises in Zwelisha – KZN. Reaction Officers proceeded to the general dealer which operates from a shipping container.

Upon arrival, it was established that the suspects had made a hole in a wall where one of the employees lived (picture 2). The suspects started a fire and smoked the victim out of his home. They then forced the man to open up the business and stole several items before fleeing in an unknown direction. Reaction Officers conducted a search for the suspects however no arrests were made.

The victim was not injured.
