Johannesburg, South Africa – 5 April 2017. An Air Traffic Navigation Services (ATNS) South Africa engineer has been crowned the 2017 International Field Archery Association (IFAA) champion at the World Indoor Archery International tournament held in Brasov, Romania.

The tournament took place from 29 March 2017 to 2 April 2017.

Phillip De Lange (see image attached), a Technical Support Manager at Cape Town International Airport, took up the sport a little over three years ago. He is currently the South African National Archery (Adult Male Bowhunter Unlimited) champion.

ATNS CEO Thabani Mthiyane says ATNS has a number of employees participating in various national and international sporting events and have done very well. “We are proud and honoured to have Phillip as part of our team here at ATNS. We wish him the best of luck in all future competitions he will be participating in”.
