Western Cape: Two men arrested for illegal possession of unpolished diamonds valued at R 1 Million
To ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice, police from the Stabilisation Unit followed up on information they received and arrested two men aged 25 years in Table View. The arrests were made in a shopping centre yesterday, 2017-07-25, at 14:00. The duo was found to be in possession of 15 unpolished diamonds worth an estimated street value of R 1 Million.
The suspects are facing charges of illegal possession of unpolished diamonds and, once charged, they will appear in the Cape Town Magistrate’s Court. The #HAWKS are investigating the case.
