Construction started on Khomfini river bridge
The KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison, Mr. Willies Mchunu, announced the beginning of the construction of the much-needed Khomfini river bridge on Tuesday (12 February 2016), linking the Nkandla and Msinga communities.
The construction of Khomfini Tugela River Vehicle Bridge, which is located under the Nkandla and Msinga Local Municipalities, which in turn are in the Uthungulu and Umzinyathi District Municipalities respectively, marks the continuation of the government’s programme to develop rural communities.
