Man hit-and-killed by train at the Florida Train station
A man, believed to be in his 20s, was killed this morning after he was hit by a train at the Florida Train station in Florida, west of Johannesburg.
ER24 paramedics, along with another service, arrived on the scene and found the man lying on the side of the tracks.
Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries, leaving him in a critical condition.
ER24 paramedics immediately began their treatment and provided the patient with advanced life support interventions.
Unfortunately, after some time, the patient succumbed to his multiple injuries and was declared dead on the scene.
Local authorities were on the scene to begin their investigations.
