Man left critically injured after freak accident, Worcester
A 24-year-old man was left critically injured this evening in a freak accident at a company on the R60 outside of Worcester in the Western Cape.
ER24 paramedics, along with Metro Rescue, arrived on the scene and where lead to where they found the patient.
Upon assessment, paramedics found that the man’s leg had become trapped inside a piece of machinery. The man was also found to be in a critical condition.
Paramedics and Metro Rescue worked for sometime to free the man from the machine.
Once freed, paramedics treated the man for his serious leg injury, and provided him with advanced life support interventions.
The man was later transported to Mediclinic Worcester for urgent care.
