Two people have been critically injured following an accident on the R55 in Centurion yesterday evening.
Reports from the scene indicate that a Truck and a light motor vehicle collided with each other.
The exact detail to the cause of the accident will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare911 paramedics managed to stabilise those injured on scene.
The Netcare1 helicopter was dispatched to the scene to airlift a critically injured man to a Johannesburg hospital for further medical care.
The other injured person was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
