A man, believed to be in his 30s, was left critically injured early this morning after he was stabbed several times in the Angelo Informal Settlement in Boksburg.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at approximately 05h00 to find the man on the road outside the settlement.
The man was assessed and found to have sustained several stab wounds, leaving him in a critical condition.
Paramedics quickly treated the man and provided him with advanced life support interventions before he was transported to Tambo Memorial Hospital for further care.
The incident was reported to the local authorities for further investigations.
