Just before 20:00 the Volunteer Emergency Medical Response Unit received a call for a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle on Solomon Mahlangu drive at Jaqueline drive. On arrival our team found one patient with moderate injuries, once stabilized the patient could be moved out of the road to safety. The patient was transported to a nearby hospital by a private ambulance.
SAPS was on scene to investigate the accident.
