Western Cape – A 46-year-old suspect was arrested on Tuesday, 17 June 2025, for the illegal possession of a firearm.
Members of the Delft Crime Prevention Unit were conducting routine patrols in Delft when they were approached by a member of the public who informed them about a suspect allegedly in possession of a firearm.
Officers proceeded to the identified premises and, upon conducting a search, discovered a firearm hidden inside a washing machine.
