Four wanted suspects arrested in the Thembisa area.
On Tuesday 08 July 2025 at 08:15 , the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Northern Region Task Team Officers, arrested four (4) wanted suspects in the Thembisa area.
Officers received information from the Thembisa South African Police Service (SAPS) investigation officer, with regard to spotted suspects pertaining an outstanding armed robbery case. The team mobilized and processed to the alleged suspects residences. Upon arrival, one (1) male was found in the vicinity in possession of a blank air gun and used blank ammunition.
Officers continued with their search and proceeded to another residence, where three (3) more suspects were found. One of the suspects was in possession of a reported stolen phone.
The group was arrested and detained at Thembisa South Police Station, as per the outstanding armed robbery case. They are expected to appear at the Thembisa Magistrate’s court soon.
