SAPS seeks missing 11-year-old boy
The Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit in Gqeberha seeks the community’s assistance in tracing an 11-year-old boy who went missing on Saturday 28 June 2025.
It is reported that on the above mentioned date during the day, Jaquin Assam (11) from Vastrap, Booysens Park, Bethelsdorp requested his guardian to go to Central to visit his mother, she did not allow him to go but later during the day he left his house. Jaquin informed his guardian that he was going to play with his friends. He never returned home and efforts made to locate him were in vain. He was reported missing at SAPS Bethelsdorp on Friday 04 July 2025.
Police are appealing to anyone who can assist in locating Jaquin Assam, to urgently contact Warrant Officer Simphiwe Siyolo on 079 896 7335 / 041 401 3000 Crime Stop 08600 10111 or their nearest police station.
