The Gauteng Traffic Wardens (STT) together with the South African Police Service swiftly responded to information from the community regarding a male who was in possession of an unlicensed firearm in Reiger Park.
The officers proceeded to the location where they conducted a search and found an unlicensed firearm with 4 live ammunition and one suspect was arrested.
In a separate incident, one suspect managed to flee and another was arrested for possession of suspected stolen copper cables with an estimated weight of 106kg.
