Vispol members, Gauteng Traffic Police and Gauteng Traffic Wardens, conducted Gender-Base Violence and drugs awareness campaigns around EASTGATE Taxi Rank considering the pandemic of GBVF around the area. The community at Taxi Rank EASTGATE, were sensitised about drug abuse and Gender -Base Violence.
The community was very ecstatic to see Bedfordview SAPS members in their area addressing them about the issue of GBV. There were also victims of GBV who got help amidst the campaign.
Hundred and twenty Five (125) community members were reached and 120 pamphlets were distributed.
