Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) responded to an emergency call on Wick Street in Verulam CBD, KwaZulu-Natal, today (Thursday) following reports of a robbery.
Upon arrival, the 32-year-old male victim, reported that he was robbed at knifepoint by two (2) suspects. The victim had travelled to the Central Business District (CBD) from Trenance Park – KZN to purchase stock for his tuckshop when the incident occurred. The suspects managed to steal his Itel cellphone before fleeing the scene.
No injuries were reported.
