Scholar patrol inspection conducted at the Kreft Primary School and Birchleigh Laerskool in Kempton Park

Between Tuesday 05 August and Friday 08 August 2025, the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Social Crime Prevention Unit Officers, conducted a scholar patrol inspection at the Kreft primary school and Birchleigh Laerskool.

The purpose of scholar patrol inspection, is to help reduce accidents and injuries by guiding students across busy roads, especially during peak hour times when traffic congestion is high.

This also encourages students to adhere to safety guidelines and promote a culture of safety within the school community.
