A hijacking took place in Cornubia Flats in Cornubia – KZN today (Friday).
Four suspects targeted a gold Ford Bantam with a white canopy with registration ND600955 (pictured), used for transporting school children. Witnesses informed Reaction Officers that two armed suspects approached the vehicle, held the driver at gunpoint, and took his cell phone, wallet, shoes, and carry bag.
A 14-year-old girl in the bakkie escaped by jumping out and fleeing. The other two suspects were seen in a second vehicle, believed to be a Honda Brio. The suspects left the scene in an unknown direction.
