Global aviation body appoints ATNS CEO to its executive committee
Over 220 delegates from the air traffic management (ATM) industry met in Vancouver, Canada, for the CANSO Global ATM Summit and 20th Annual General Meeting. At the Executive Committee meeting following the 20th CANSO Annual General Meeting, Thabani Mthiyane, CEO of Air Traffic and Navigation Services (ATNS) SOC Ltd was elected as its Vice Chair.
Ed Sims, CEO of Airways New Zealand, was elected as its Chair. He replaces Paul Riemens who is standing down after five years as CANSO Chair.
Mthiyane currently serves CANSO as Chairperson of its Africa Region.
