Pedestrian Injured While Fleeing Assault: Verulam CBD – KZN
A pedestrian sustained minor injuries while attempting to escape an assault on Todd Street in the Verulam CBD – KZN this morning (Wednesday).
The man was struck by a white Fiat Fullback SUV while fleeing across the road. The pedestrian suffered minor injuries to his chin and right hand. He informed Reaction Officers that he was involved in an altercation with a male known to him. He fled when the confrontation turned physical and was struck by the vehicle. Details surrounding the altercation were not established.
Paramedics from Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on the scene and provided First Aid.
