Transport Deputy Minister to asses Mpumalanga’s public transport compliance to Covid-19 regulations

The Deputy Minister of Transport Ms Dikeledi Magadzi will monitor compliance to COVID-19 transport regulations by public transport operators in Orgies, Mpumalanga on Tuesday, 09 June 2020.
Ms Magadzi will be joined by the MEC for Public Works, Roads and Transport in Mpumalanga Mr Gillion Mashego.
The operation by Ms Magadzi and MEC Mashego will include inspecting compliance to the 70% loading capacity scholar transport operators. The effort by transport Deputy Minister and MEC for Public Works, Roads and Transport comes as the Grade 7 and 12 learners are expected to return to school.
Ms Magadzi and MEC Mashego will also inspect adherence to Covid-19 public transport regulations by the Mpumalanga minibus taxi operators.
