Two suspects nabbed for illegal mining at Malipsdrift policing area appeared in court
Two suspects, Thabang Mamosebo aged 31 and Robert Meso aged 42, facing charges of illegal mining, appeared before Lebowakgomo Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 16 May 2025.
They duo were granted a bail of R1500.00 each, and their case was postponed until 18 June 2025 for further investigation.
The two suspects were arrested for illegal mining activities on Thursday, 15 May 2025 at Maboa Park, Ga-Masemola in the Malipsdrift policing area. During the arrest, the police confiscated a white tipper truck and an excavator.
The police investigations are continuing.
