Duo arrested for dealing in drugs in Postmasburg
The ZF Mgcawu District Task Team conducted an intelligence driven operation aimed at depreciating contact and economic crimes in the Postmasburg, Danielskuil, and Lime Acres areas.
During the operation, on Wednesday, 18 June 2025, information led to a residence in Newtown where two suspects were arrested for dealing in drugs.
The police confiscated Tik and Mandrax tablets with an estimated street value of R6,411.00.
The duo, aged 30 and 36, is expected to appear in court soon.
The District Commissioner of ZFM, Major General Monica Sebili, commended the efforts by the team and encouraged the community of Postmasburg to provide SAPS with information that will assist in dismantling the market and distribution of drugs which is the core of violent crimes experienced by the community in Postmasburg area.
