Gauteng Anti-Gang Unit arrests three people in separate incidents
To deal with gang related crimes in Langlaagte, the Anti-Gang unit arrested three suspects on separates incidents during their stop and search operations.
On the first incident a man (36) was arrested at Langlaagte after being found in possession of a stolen vehicle as per Brixton case. He tried to drive away when the police stopped him and he crushed the vehicle and was arrested.
On the second incident, the team, arrested a man (25) for possession of mandrax tablets. Thirdly, a women was arrested after the team found her in possession of mandrax tablets, crystal meth and cash.
All three suspects are expected to make separate court appearances. The Anti-Gang unit will continue to operate in gang affected areas to deal decisively with the crime.
