Vehicle Damaged by Alleged Drug Users in Wavemore, Phoenix
Just after 21:00 pm on 12 July 2025, the KZN VIP Control Centre received a report of a motor vehicle window that had been smashed in Wavemore, Phoenix. KZN VIP Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, officers were informed that an unknown number of suspects had thrown a stone at the rear window of a light motor vehicle, The impact caused the window to shatter, prompting the suspects to flee the scene without taking any valuables from the vehicle.
KZN VIP members conducted patrols in the area following the incident; however no suspects were located. Residents voiced their concerns over the ongoing issue of Drug users damaging and threatening residents.
