Vehicle Fire on N2 Northbound Near Umhlanga Interchange
KZNVIP Medics, alongside other emergency teams, were dispatched to the scene of a vehicle fire on the N2 Northbound, just before the Umhlanga interchange, earlier today.
Due to the intensity of the fire, the affected lane was cordoned off to prevent further damage or injury to passing motorists.
The fire department responded swiftly and managed to extinguish the fire. Although the vehicle was extensively damaged and could not be saved, no injuries were reported.
Recovery remain ongoing at the scene.
