Drug dealing suspect arrested at a house in Salie Street, Matjieskloof.
The Namakwa District Task Team, comprising Shift A and Shift B, conducted a tactical, intelligence-driven operation on Thursday, 7 August 2025, at approximately 15:30, at a house in Salie Street, Matjieskloof.
The operation was the result of intelligence gathering about a person alleged to be dealing in dagga from their residence.
During the operation, members searched the premises and found 15.21 kg of hydro dagga and a substantial amount of cash, believed to be the proceeds of sales.
One female person, aged 28, was arrested for dealing in dagga. The total value of the seized items is estimated to be R1 837 610.00.
The female suspect is expected to appear in the Springbok Magistrate’s Court on 8 August 2025 for dealing in dagga.
