Led by women from various role players, including the SAPS, Provincial Traffic, Traffic Safety, Mbashe Municipality, Immigration Services, and the Road Accident Fund (RAF), the multidisciplinary team worked together to ensure that motorists and passengers complied with the law, thereby contributing to safer roads.

The operation resulted in the issuing of 47 traffic fines amounting to R37,000. In addition, 367 motor vehicles and 398 individuals were searched. Two cases of drunken driving were opened, and the motorists involved were arrested.

The suspects are expected to appear in the Dutywa Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 11 August 2025.
