Incident Report:
ProShield’s AI Analytics software detected a suspect unlawfully entering the premises of Gys Pitzer Motoring. The alert was immediately verified by the CCTV Controller, who maintained continuous visual surveillance of the suspect while directing responding units to his exact location.
Three ProShield Reaction Units responded immediately. Guided by live CCTV updates, officers entered the premises and successfully apprehended the suspect red-handed while he was still inside the property. Multiple stolen tools were recovered.
SAPS (VL23) responded to the scene, where the suspect was handed over for arrest. R02 subsequently attended Villieria SAPS to provide a statement.
