Fezile Dabi District members conducted a Vehicle Check Point on the R716, led by the Oranjeville Station Commander, Captain Mahlatsi. The operation was carried out to enhance #PoliceVisibility, ensure compliance with road traffic legislation, and prevent criminal activities within the area.
During the operation, vehicles were stopped and inspected, and drivers were requested to produce valid driver’s licences and vehicle documentation. Focus was also placed on conducting thorough searches of vehicles and occupants for illegal firearms, dangerous weapons, drugs, and other illegal items, in line with SAPS crime prevention duties.
Motorists were engaged in a professional manner and educated on road safety and compliance with traffic regulations. The operation was executed successfully without any incidents, and good cooperation was received from the public.
