Joint operations held in Odendaalsrus
Colonel Mkhumbeni, joined by Colonel Solomon and Colonel Mohokare, led a successful operation which resulted in suspects being arrested for various offences in Odendaalsrus.
On Friday, 15 August 2025, the South African Police Service, alongside the Department of Home Affairs, conducted compliance checks, stop and searches, police visibility, and crime combating duties. The operation resulted in the issuing of fines for liquor related offences and illicit goods trade. Arrests were made for dealing in dagga, possession of dangerous weapons, and one suspect was further arrested for resisting arrest.
The arrested suspects will make their appearances in the Odendaalsrus Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 18 August 2025.
