Western Cape Flying Squad arrested 15 gang affiliated suspects for possession of unlicensed firearms
Members of the Western Cape Flying Squad arrested 15 gang affiliated suspects for possession of unlicensed firearms, possession of ammunition and possession of presumable stolen property on Thursday, 13 November 2025. Two firearms and ammunition were confiscated.
In an unrelated incident, a 39-year-old male suspect was arrested for possession of a firearm in Mphunzi Street, Lower Cross Roads this morning. Members also confiscated a South African army jacket and 47 rounds of ammunition.
Furthermore, members proceeded to Better Life informal settlement, following intelligence. They found a 23-year-old male who was arrested for illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.
