28 year old man seriously injured in collision in Evander
A 28 year old man was seriously injured when his vehicle collided with a truck between Embalenhle and Evander in Mpumalanga yesterday afternoon.
It is believed that the two vehicles collided head-on, which left the young man severely injured and trapped in the wreckage of his car.
Fire fighters had to make use of the Jaws-of-Life to extract the man from the wreckage and Paramedics further stabelised him before transporting him to hospital.
Traffic was severely affected due to lane closure for safety concerns while the rescue was underway.
