MEC Mchunu to announce the upgrade of the P419 from gravel to blacktop
The KwaZulu Natal MEC for Department of Transport, Community Safety and Liaison Mr Willies Mchunu will announce the upgrade of P419 from gravel to blacktop in the Ingwe local Municipality in the Harry Gwala District on Tuesday (25th August 2015).
The upgrade of this 23 km stretch between eNkwezela and Nkumba will cost R314454851.71 and will be utilized in 2022. This project will create 200 jobs opportunities for the local community and will provide skills development.
MEC Mchunu will be accompanied by leadership of the Harry Gwala District and its local municipalities, Departmental Stakeholders and members of the Transport Portfolio Committee.
