High winds injured worker on Durban Beach front
This afternoon Netcare 911 paramedics received a call for a lady that had been injured in the high winds on the Durban beachfront. Reports indicate that a lady working on the beach was hit by a pane of glass on the head after the wind broke it off the roof of the beachfront toilets.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the female to have sustained a large laceration to her head. After medics treated her at the scene , they transported her to a hospital in Durban for the care that she required.
