Durban man fighting for his life after falling from a tree
This morning at 10h41 Netcare 911 paramedics received a call for a man that had fallen from a tree in Allamanda Road in Glen Hills, Durban. Reports from the scene indicate that the man was about eight meters up the tree when he slipped and fell, his body hitting the concrete below.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man lying on the pavement with life threatening injuries. The medical team worked fervently to stabilise the man at the scene. After placing him on a ventilator, they immobilised the critically wounded patient on a trauma board before transporting him to a Durban hospital for the specialised care that he required.
