PMB crash at intersection leaves elderly lady seriously injured
This morning Netcare 911 paramedics received a call for a partial head-on collision at the intersection of Longmarket and Chapel Roads in Pietermaritzburg. Exact detail to the cause of the collision will form part of the South African Police investigation.
The Netcare 911 Emergency Care Practitioner and his crew arrived at the scene and found a female in her sixties still seated in the twisted frame of her vehicle with serious injuries. Paramedics stabilised her at the scene and then transported her to a nearby hospital under the constant care of the advanced life support paramedic.
