Driver critically injured in rollover crash
A driver is in a critical condition in hospital after he rolled his vehicle several times on Nicholson Road in Glenwood on Saturday evening just after 9:20pm.
Rescue Care Paramedics were called to the serious crash and on arrival found that a single vehicle had lost control and rolled several times. The driver had been ejected from the wreckage and was found on the road. He had sustained critical injuries and Rescue Care Advanced Life Support Paramedic placed the man on a manual ventilator. Once he had been stabilized the injured man was then rushed to a nearby hospital for the further care that he required.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the single vehicle to roll over however the necessary authorities were on scene and will be investigating.
