Amanzimtoti pedestrian crash
On Sunday afternoon at 16h19 Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a pedestrian accident opposite the Taxi Rank in Kingsway Road Amanzimtoti. Exact detail to the cause of the crash and preceding events is still speculative, and will remain a subject for police investigation.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found a man in his thirties lying in the roadway with serious injuries. Medics worked fervently to stabilise the man and after immobilising him on a trauma board, they transported the patient to an area hospital under the constant care of a Netcare 911 advanced life support paramedic.
