Road closure on the R75 , 10 kilometres from Uitenhage after truck rollover
A truck driver is in a serious condition after a truck carrying vegetable’s overturned on the R75 , 10 kilometres from Uitenhage in the Eastern Cape.
The exact detail to the cause of the accident will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare911 paramedics managed to stabilise the seriously injured truck driver on scene before transporting him to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
Both traffic lanes have been obstructed.
The road has been closed since 13h30 this afternoon.
Motorists are advised to exercise patience and caution if they will be utilising this road.
Authorities are still on the scene.
