Two killed and three injured in collision on the N1, in Kraaifontein near Cape Town
Two people were killed and three others sustained moderate to serious injuries in a collision that occurred on the N1, in Kraaifontein near Cape Town. The collision occurred earlier today between the Brighton Road and Okavango Road and involved only one vehicle.
One of the vehicle’s tyres allegedly burst, which led to the driver losing control over the vehicle. The vehicle rolled several times. When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene they found that two people were ejected from the vehicle and was unfortunately declared dead on scene.
The remaining three patients were treated and transported to various hospitals for further treatment. The cause of the incident remains unknown, local authorities were on scene for further investigation.
