Fifteen injured in taxi roll over on M4 Broadway
Fifteen commuters have been left injured after a minibus taxi they were traveling in overturned on the M4 Ruth First Highway this afternoon.
Shortly after 13:30, Crisis Medical Paramedics arrived on scene to absolute chaos as the twisted frame of a Toyota HiAce lay strewn across the center median.
Injured commuters clambered to safety as emergency services triaged the injured. Fifteen people suffered injuries ranging from minor to moderate and treated and stabilized on the scene before being taken to various nearby medical facilities for further care.
Traffic was severely affected on both sides of the highway as emergency services worked to clear the scene.
The local authorities were on scene and will investigate the incident further.
