Driver of the Year at Mkondeni 2019
The annual Driver of the Year competition was held at Mkondeni Testing Grounds over this past weekend.
The event is held annually in order to promote safe driving practice by public transport operators, and was attended by SANTACO’s Sifiso Shangase, uMntwana Nhlanganiso Zulu, Thobekile Nzimande, Ayanda Ngxoweni from the Road Safety Directorate, and CTU’s Head of Sales and Marketing Bipin Bhagwan.
Ten (10) drivers participating in the Pietermaritzburg leg of the competition.
The top three runner ups out of the 10 participants are:
Veronica Khumalo
Khayelihle Masondo
Ayanda Mpanza
Within the top three runner ups, the winner will be announced at SANTACO KZN Awards at Dundee on the 29th of March 2019.
