6th KwaZulu-Natal Premier’s Inauguration
Yesterday ,Premier of KwaZulu-Natal, Sihle Zikalala was officially inaugurated at Parkside in Pietermaritzburg at the 6th Provincial Inauguration.
MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison, Mxolisi Kaunda was re-appointed to his portfolio for a second term.
KwaZulu-Natal Judge President Achmat Jappie presided over the taking of the oaths for the Premier, MEC Kaunda and other MECs appointed to Premier Sihle Zikalala’s provincial cabinet.
Also in attendance were former President of the Republic of South Africa, Mr Jacob Zuma, National Minister of Police, Mr Bheki Cele, and former KwaZulu-Natal Premiers, Mr. Willies Mchunu, Mr Ben Ngubane and Mr Sibusiso Ndebele.
