February 3, 2021 • News

Tomorrow, Thursday 4 February 2021, the Western Cape Minister of Transport and Public Works, Bonginkosi Madikizela, will officially open the Mossel Bay Shared Offices Building (SOB). There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the occasion.

The Western Cape Department of Transport and Public Works rehabilitated an old hostel owned by the Western Cape Government and converted it into a top-class Shared Services Centre to enable the Departments of Health, Agriculture, Social Development, and Education to provide services to the community.

The R60 million project in the easily accessible Marsh Street will enable the community of Mossel Bay to access government at a one-stop-shop and help reduce traveling distances to get services.

Minister Madikizela will be joined by Mossel Bay Mayor, Alderman Harry Levendal, during the official opening of the building.

Details are as follows:

Date: Thursday, 4 February 2021
Time: 11 am
Venue: Mossel Bay SOB, Marsh Street

All media are welcome to attend. There will be opportunities for media interviews and photographs. Social distancing and mask-wearing will be strictly enforced.
