The police in Potchefstroom request the community’s assistance in locating 19-year-old Tlotliso Miya
The police in Potchefstroom request the community’s assistance in locating 19-year-old Tlotliso Miya, who was residing in Die Bult, Dwars Street. Tlotliso is originally from Phuthaditjhaba in the Free State and is currently a student at North-West University, Potchefstroom Campus. He last spoke with his father telephonically on Tuesday, 2 June 2026, informing him that he would be home around Friday, 19 June 2026. However, he never arrived home.
A search commenced and extensive investigations were conducted, but police could not locate him. It is unknown what he was wearing at the time of his disappearance. Tlotliso is light in complexion, has a slender build, black afro hair, a black moustache and a black beard.
The police request anyone who may have information regarding Tlotliso Miya’s whereabouts to contact the investigating officer, Warrant Officer Ithuteng Legotlo, on 073 034 7852.
